At approximately 1:48 AM this world lost a hero and a wonderful man. After 59 years of marriage and a lifetime full of accomplishments my grandfather, General Frank Simokaitis passed away with my Grandma by his side. He has touched the lives of everyone he has come into contact with and has inspired countless along the way. I couldn't be more happy to have spent several hours with him yesterday and tell him everything he needed to hear from me. This page does no justice to what a kind, patient, and inspiring man he was, but will serve as a small tribute. Rest in Peace Grandpa, I love you.
